I don't post much ,not necessarily due to my record (which I admit wasn't stellar last year, around 40%) but because I like parlays, and I feel the consensus on this board is that parlays are sucker bets. I've been capping 8 yrs. now and with the exception of last year I,ve done well or kept my head above water. When I post picks they will be parlayed, so I have no margin for error.
For Sep. 6 I like the following;
Connecticut -15 They are a good team with a promising future (good moneymaker LY and I expect the same or better this year)and because Army is ...well Army. 4*
Tulsa +38 Arkansas should cover this spread easily, however Houston NUTT, won't run the score up in 90% of the games they are favored by large numbers. 3*
Washington -25 1/2 Washington smarting from last weeks whipping by a Big 10 foe gets revenge this week in home opener. Indiana a team that is eternally under construction won't be much more than a speed bump. 4*
I use 1 - 4 *(star) system. I rarely use 1 or 2 stars for parlays.
